Link: Music: Tree Ring Cross Section Played Through Piano

Bartholomäus Traubeck recently played a tree’s cross section’s thin section on a turntable, using a variety of computer gear to transfer the sound to a piano track. The result is actually pretty nice, somewhat eerie, and not as random as you’d think.
